The 2007 WORLD FLUTE FEST Benefit for I.D.A. took place on Saturday, November 3rd at the magnificent Chapel of the Chimes at 4499 Piedmont Ave. in Oakland, California.
The 2007 WFF featured the following flutists:
Ravichandra Kulur (Indian Bansuri player who tours with Ravi Shankar and Anoushka Shankar), Skip Healy (Internationally-acclaimed Irish Wooden Flute Player and Maker), Roger Glenn (Jazz Legend, has played and recorded with Chick Corea, Cal Tjader and other jazz greats), Carol Alban (Composer, and Principal Flutist, Bay Area Chamber Symphony), Stephen Schultz (Baroque Flutist and Professor at Carnegie Mellon University), Nancy Tyler (Principal Flutist, Oakland New Music Ensemble), Philip Gelb (Japanese Shakuhachi), Tom Bickley (Recorder), Ann Licater (Native American and World Flutes), Eliyahu Sills (Ney), Eric Fraser (Bansuri), Tim Barsky (Beat-boxing Flutist), and Nayo Ulloa (Virtuoso Andean flute player).

Pauline Oliveros (Legendary Composer and Accordionist),
